In conjuction with newly deployed network attached storage devices, JaguarPC now provides all its customers multiple backups to ensure unparalleled protection of their data.

The deal includes purchasing R1Soft’s enterprise data center license that will cover JaguarPC’s entire network. Every NAS device within the network is currently being installed with CDP, which is also compliant with all major acts such as HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley and Gramm-Leach-Bliley. R1Soft’s CDP products diverge significantly from traditional backup technologies, which essentially copy files at intervals from hard disks to another medium, such as a tape drive. These methods only provide data protection on a daily or weekly basis, resulting in large losses of data in the event of a disaster. R1Soft’s CDP Server, however, monitors changes to the disk as they happen, thereby reducing backup windows to seconds or minutes. SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch)—Google’s major Internet and media rivals hope to encourage antitrust regulators to close scrutinize Google Inc.’s planned purchase of Internet ad-services firm DoubleClick Inc., according to a media report Sunday.

At issue, said executives at the companies critical of the deal, is that Google already controls the lion’s share of the market for Internet-search advertising and related contextual ads; according to the report.

It appears that companies like MS (who wanted to buy DoubleClick) are not going to take this acquisition lightly.

Seamless merger brings new plans, unified customer support to both customer bases
