Is this anything to worry about? POP3 connections

Seen this in logwatch and wondered if it was an attempt by someone to abuse the mail on my vps:

I checked the cpanel account and no eamil accounts have been configuerd behind my back, just the forwarder I setup. I had already changed whm settings to limit emails per hour to 200 just in case.

Is this anything to worry about? Thanks in advance :)

It is fine and nothing to worry about. I too have 172 connections to localhost. Along with 1621 other connections.
