Hello, it is my first time using VPS and know nothing about managing VPS. I am digging around but I have found nothing about starting VPS managements.
I have an active website now and I have set it as primary domain in my VPS plan. now I want to add another website with different add on domain, how can I do this?
after adding the domain my DNS is ns1.mydomain.com now should I change my dns in my registrar (name.com) to this? or add a private dns?
I am going to install wordpress in my Vps are there any preinstall actions I have to do?
and where can I find more starting guides?!
thanks

Do you have any control panel (like cpanel, plesk) installed in your vps?
To point a domain to your vps, you have to create private (or child) nameservers at the registrar using the two IP's in your vps like:
ns1.domain.com x.x.x.x
ns2.domain.com y.y.y.y
Once you create the private nameservers, you can use that nameservers to point the domains to your vps.
If you need any assistance, please feel free to open a ticket and we will be more than happy to assist you.

Thanks for you response,
My control panel is Capnel/WHM.
I have a website on lunarpages shared hosting now I want to transfer it to my new VPS on JPC, are these steps I am going to do right?
1- I will create new account with the domain name of my site (www.efun.ir) which is my primary domain on my vps. and its DNS are ns1.efun.ir, ns2.efun.ir
2- now I have access to my cpanel, I will login to my cpanel and transfer my datas and file from old hosting to JPC.
3- after checking every thing, I will change my name servers from (ns1.lunarbreeze.com, ns2.lunarbreeze.com) to ns1.efun.ir and ns1.efun.ir.
am I right?

If you don't have cpanel with the old host, you have to create an account and manually transfer the files/databases as you mentioned in the first 2 steps.
If you have cpanel with the old host, you can use the cpanel script to backup and restore the account.
First login to the cpanel of the old server >> Click Backup >> Click Generate/download a full backup.
Select backup destination as scp
Remote host: enter the IP of new vps,
username: root
Password: enter the root password.
Remote dir: /home
Now login to whm of the new vps (http://x.x.x.x:2086)
Click Restore a Full Backup/cpmove file and enter the cpanel username.
Once the account is restored, you can check the account using the temporary url
http://x.x.x.x/~username/
Once you confirm that account is restored correctly, you can change the nameservers at the registrar.
Make sure to register private nameservers
ns1.efun.ir x.x.x.x
ns2.efun.ir y.y.y.y
Replace x.x.x.x & y.y.y.y with the correct IP's.
Hope this helps.
