My IMAP server was acting up, accepting connections but not presenting any data, timing out and throwing dropped connection errors. I opened a ticket expecting to get the new usual
L1 -> wait -> L2 -> wait -> L3 -> REALLY long wait -> solved (or not).

Instead, just 16 minutes later I receive a reply that the mail server has been restarted. Right in Level 1!!! And mail is working again!

Wow!!! Just like the old days!

Is this a sign of a turnaround? U turn ahead!

Is this the dawn of an era of hope? I hope so.

Is this back to the future? Only time will tell.
