    Database user lockouts?

    A concern I've developed during my testing for Joomla 1.5 to 1.7 migration, the SP UPdate script is now saying that the database user I specify, which I know to be valid in name and password, is being denied access to the older Joomla 1.5 database. Despite the same script having worked earlier today.

    Is there any kind of lockout, if a single database is hit too hard within a short span of time?

    We are not aware of any such lockup. Please open a support ticket from your client dashboard and someone can investigate it for you.
