DNS Zone files allow you to control how DNS functions. For example, if you want to have a subdomain point to another IP address and/or domain, add a new CNAME record.

This is a new feature added recently by cPanel where end cPanel user (i.e. our shared hosting clients) can add, edit, and remove A, CNAME, and TXT DNS records.

This feature is now activated on all our shared and semi-dedicated clients. Our resellers, VPS, and dedicated client using cPanel have access to WHM feature manager where they can control if they want to show this feature to their end cPanel user.
