I've got an older Olympus Camedia camera that I really like. Its only a 2 megapixel which is old by today's standards, but it takes a great shot. It was $600 when I got it, but something similar would probably got for about $200 now. If you can afford it, go with a 4 or 5 megapixel camera for an even better picture.

Never thought of Christmas as a time to buy something for me. To me
Christmas is about giving not getting. I do understand your question. I just
had a computer bite the dust so I bought a new one. I guess that is what
I bought me for Christmas. In regards to Digital Cameras, everyone is going
to have an opinion or favorite. Check the specials in the Sunday news paper.

You should be able to get a topnotch Camera for around $350.00. Personally
I still prefer the old Polaroid.

    Happy Holidays.........

Yes, go with the Kodak and help Rochester's economy. I seems like Kodak keeps laying more and more people off all the time, so many Rochestarians will be happy if you help them keep their jobs. They also give a lot of money and equipment to the school where I work, so buy Kodak...

In all seriousness, though, I know a bunch of people who have Kodak digital cameras and they seem to be pretty good. I've never used one myself, so I don't know much about them, but I've seen the pictures they take and think the quality is pretty good.
