Looks like, unfortunately, XCops is going to have to start charging for their services via online subscriptions since the platform of donation-dependent funding for services is insufficient. Maybe a tiered pricing structure would accommodate both the occassional visitor and the serious security professional.

As nice as it would be to count on donations from visitors to finance such an enterprise, the reality is that too few have and do, the economic reality of "small business". I hope that they are able to explore other financing options and maintain what has been an apparently valuable online service. If they have become a routine target of hackers, then they must be doing something right and something worthy of financial renumeration.
