    I open the command line program on Windows XP and forget that I am not in unix and wondering why ls wont work,lol


    My mind has now centered on the unix world , I am lost in a windows enviroment with out a mouse.

    That same feeling happened to me my freshman year of college, a couple weeks after I started taking a Unix-based programming class. I still do things like taht all the time: ls, rm, cp, man...

    setup a .bat file that'll translate your linux commands
