On a lighter and uplifting note, how about that Lance Armstrong? The premature but seemingly inevitable results of the Tour de France are that he will win, again, for an unprecedented place in cycling history (Looks like a lock: Armstrong crushes rivals in time trial). Quite a story.

This has to place as one of the most amzing feats in major sports even though it depends somewhat on teamwork. I guess I'd rank it up there with the Stanley Cup for team sports or the Triple Crown of horseracing.

And to think he accomplished all of this as a cancer survivor. Wow.
