    You're welcome

I know some email clients/personal information managers (ala outlook) have them built in, such as Evolution, but I believe that is a linux only product.

    but, well, they aren't skinnable

I didn't really want to do it, but I suppose I will have to make one my self!

I don't know a great deal about rss feeds and XML, so I will have to learn all about it

Ah well, to the drawing board I go!
    Thanks again Matt

XML is fun, its basically just a strict way of writing a tagged file. There are modules in a lot of programming languages thet'll redd RSS feeds for you and return the data in a nice array or something. I suggest looking around for some libraries to make your job a ton easier.

Yeah, I know what XML is, just not in any great depth.
I have started looking for a good xml/rss reader in C++ no use reinventing the wheel.
But I would still like too learn more about it so that I can work more efficently with XML

RSS is, of all of the various flavors of XML out there, one of the easier ones to understand, especially if you are dealing with version 0.91 (which is still in wide use). Things get a little more complicated with version 2, but its still easy to work with.

Have you looked at Macromedia's Central application?
    http://macromedia.com/software/central/

I have no idea if this is anywhere near what you want - you can build your own on their framework, though.
