Read about this "falsified memo" revelation earlier and had to laugh. The blogosphere is turning the media reportage on its ear. Gotta love it. Now the whole world can research the media and critique without being filtered. Payback is heck!
Meanwhile, viewer attrition of major, over-air, media hemorrhages at a greater rate and the web becomes more intertwined with normal living. Now we really have "power to the people".

Despite parading special coverage piece after special coverage piece all summer to discredit the President, they finally may have gone to the well once to often and gotten nailed so obviously that the bias can no longer be ignored. I used to like 60 Minutes just like I used to like Hardball... but they have become the equivalent of yellow-rag journalism to me now. These "news" outlets must be in a state of panic as their circulation diminishes.

CBS keeps sticking to their position.
To me there is more than enough evidence to cast doubt on the CBS claim.
As a Veterian. The Bottom line to me is this. Did George W Bush get an honorable discharge. If he did he has paper work to documnet that. If he received an honorable discharge that means to me he met all obligations.
Personally I don't care if he got into the Gaurd to keep from being drafted. In those days it didn't make a lot of difference.
