Looking for a calendar script or something

    Hey guys,

I need to display some events in a calendar and was wondering if anyone here could recommend something for that. PHP, CGI, or whatever really.

    Thanks,
    Pete

I guess I should note that I would like to be able to display the calendar within a table in one of the pages of the site I am working on. I should be able to add events and stuff and when a user clicks on a certain date a more "detailed" view comes up, something along those lines.

Nothing specific to propose but I'd suggest browsing:

    http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_Scripts/ and
    http://www.hotscripts.com

Some listings are redundant but you'll get a nice list from which to start.

Been there done that. I appreciate the suggestions but there is so much crap there and it really is difficult to wade through it all and find something useful. Thats why I was hoping that someone could recommend something from experience.

    Thanks though!

I've used it on my site:

    gngpolandhockey.com

It uses flat files so it wouldn't be good for a very busy calendar but it does support multiple flat file dbs (for multiple users). Acts strangley if you use odd characters in description (like ampersand)
