    I'm in, but it sure was hard finding an address that wasn't already in use. They wouldn't even let me be flipdoubt! Imagine the nerve of these people.

    With a real name like "David Smith", the only way you can google me is with the nickname I use. If you can be googled by a name, I think it only fair that Google should give you that name.

    Actually, the distribution of invites has been erratic lately, but leans towards the side of 'send out as many as possible'. I had a couple of accounts created, and they each got 6 invites within half an hour. Searching on google for 'gmail invite' gets you this:

    An awesome little site that lets people donate unused invites to it, then resends them out to whoever wants them. I'd suggest trying to get one from there; I dumped in 18 invites myself .
