In general, however, you are quite right.
I did HTML the hard way for years. If you've been around any length of time, you know the type - I USE RAW HTML BAYBAY! <insert Tarzan Call o' The Wild sound effects>...
Then, I finally bit the bullet and started using HTML editors - and I used them all. CoffeeCup was the big one back then (mid-90's), but I couldn't hack the stupid interface. I settled on the upstart proggie HomeSite. HTML editors like HomeSite make experts out of everyone. They are very similar to word processors. They are all different, but they still do the same thing.
Anyway, Chief, let me know if I can help out. I know HTML as well as anything. I'm particularily good with table cells, which is the downfall of many web designers. It's a geometry thing. Either you get it or you don't, and I've got it down pat...
