Is it just me, or is there something about a girl with an "Adam's Apple"?

Talking about "Adam's Apples", how about that Francesca Neri?

I don't know why you posted these in the JibJab thread... (or why you posted them at all for that matter)....
I think Vin wanted us to see his taste in women. I really don't think the Adams Apple has that much to do with it. All those women have a lot more going for them than a large Adams Apple. By the way I think they were nice pictures and enjoyed looking at them. ..
Since I can't view flash or movies with FireBird, I'm not sure what the orginal post was trying to show. On the other hand you know Vin often makes irrlevant post.
Glad to see you moved the pictures to a new thread and the title was appropriate.

Firefox views flash fine and I'm on linux
But the movie had nothing to do with women except for a small part about clinton...
Oh well, I must say that these are some nice looking ladies![]()
I have tried sevral times tonight to include an image with a reply to Vins Post on his girls. I can't do it. I even tried to give a link to the image but a 404 error page is displayed on a different site. I have both sites but they are on different servers with dedicated IPs.
What I mean is I give a direct link from one site and get an error page on the other site.
This is frustrating. I know I have lost most of my marblels, but I don't think I have lost that many.

So you are trying to post a response with a link to a file over which you have full control because it (image file) is in your webspace? Is the domain from which you are linking a top domain or a subdomain of the top domain? And are you using any image protection schemes such as mod_rewrite in any .htaccess files?

Yes but .jpg files are not included in the mod_rewrite. I understand the problem if hotlinking was prevented. Even then a broken image link should show up I think. And are you using any image protection schemes such as mod_rewrite in any .htaccess files?
I have never had any problem with the link feature before. I have always had problems with inserting an image. Sometimes I have overcome that problem by putting the image on a web page and then linking to the webpage.
What was really frustrating me at the time of the post when trying to use the http:// feature I was being redirected to another site error page. There is no rhym or reason for that. I own both sites. They are on different servers.
The link to http://www.site A.com was redirecting to an error page at http://www.site B.com. There are no redirects in the .htaccess from site A to site B. Site A is a test site for site B. The only links from A to B are on the page I use as a home page at site A. Other than that there is no relationship. Nothing that should cause a redirect from error page A to error page B that I know of.
Thanks for the interest. I doubt that anyone has an answer. If they do I would like to hear it. After stating my frustrations in the post I forgot about it. Haven't had time to do any more experimenting to see if I can find the reason for the redirect.
Hope I have explained this a little better than in the first post.

test link clssamtest.png removed - issue resolved
Hmmm, the image link seems to work OK for me with this test. I know you've tried this already but does your link look anything like this (but without the single quotes)?
And there is no MisPellinG, you know, case-wise?Code:['IMG']http://www.myhistosoft.com/images/debug/clssamtest.png['/IMG'] # or in your case, the "web-relative" ['IMG']http://www.domain.com/path/to/image/imageforvin.png['/IMG']
What does your weblog look like? Anything indicating your error of "file-not-found" or some other indicator? Sometimes if you get a 404, you recieve the error page indicated in some .htaccess file where you may have set:
ErrorDocument 404 /relative/path/to/404file.html
Are you using the same or different 404 files for all of your domains?
At the moment, I'm a bit puzzled why it wouldn't be working.

Thanks Spath for the suggestions. If you had not responded I would problably let this drop. After looking at the .htaccess file I finally caught a couple of errors that were causing all the problems.
Thanks.
Vin can't quite see the Adams Apple but I think she has other assests.![]()
