I don't know. But let's take a break from politics for, say, a week and then you guys can go at it again.

Yeah, it like, go cold here

(strange policy indeed, but I think we could all use a nice break to cool off and such [mainly because that i can't stand politics ATM, and need a break ] )

The weather is always something to talk about. It's either to hot, to cold, to wet, or to dry most of the time. Today is a pretty decent day.

So what's going on in your area.

Decent here too. Clear blue skies and temperatures dropping with the season. Probably time to step away from the computer for a while and clear the head.

I was watching an episode of COPS yesterday, there was the story of a chief of police who was being tried on mis-conduct charges.

Seems that he sent his SWAT team into a building after the people inside claimed to have machine guns. People saw them with machine guns, and there were videos found of these guys using machine guns in past criminal activity. But now, they wouldn't open the door for the police, and claimed to have no machine guns, but wouldn't tell anybody what they had done with the machine guns that they used to have, and claimed to have.

So the Chief of Police sent in the SWAT team, and killed a bunch of people who started shooting at them with handguns, and they arrested the gang leader.

Well, they searched the house and couldn't find any machine guns, so the chief is now being tried. The claim is that he actually knew there were no machine guns in the house, but that he wanted to raid the house because the gang leader had once tried to kill the former police chief, who happened to be the current police chief's father. Aside from this possible motive, there is not a shred of evidence to suggest that the police chief knew there were no machine guns.

So there was a very public trial, and after a year of testimony on both sides, the jury decided that they believed the police chief. The persecution was planning an appeal, but conceded that it may take as many as four more years before the case can be tried again. Claiming to be noblemen who had just lost their way but now have come to their senses, the persecution then called on all their lawyers to lay down their arms in the name of the Constitution, with which they are in love.

My apologies to Gilbert and Sullivan.

Hey, the lower 50's is a good HIGH temperature here in Wisconsin this time of the year.

You Texas folk don't know the meaning of the word cold.

Speaking of northern climates... did anyone else see the Aurora last night? It was pretty spectacular here.

    LoL! Whatever!

I told you Bush was gonna run away with the election, and he did. Now, I'm telling you this country is headed for civil war, and it is.

If you think this is the end of it, you got your heads in the clouds. How's the weather up there?
