Yams, greenbean casserole, cranberries, corn, mashed potatoes, apple salad, biscuits, stuffing, oven-roasted turkey (I like white and dark meat)...followed by a slice of chocolate cheesecake with raspberries and raspberry sauce on top...surrounded by friends and family with football on the tv.

Hope your day is a great one. (You weren't rooting for Detroit were you?)

We're sitting around, trying to figure out who the lesbians are on 'Survivor - Vanuatu'. We strongly suspect Amy (wanted to kiss her 'girl friend', but didn't). Scout for sure (has a 'partner' - dead giveaway). Leann probably (her friend came to see her and they hugged a little too long). Gawd, Twila is in control! She is such a bish!

Anyway, it doesn't get any better than this, folks. Happy Thanksgiving; what's left of it!

Everyone ready to hit the stores at 5:00 AM?

Yeah, that's what everyone says, even ppl that have known me for years.

My favorite lunch is onion sandwiches with Trappey's Red Devil. That's an inch or two of raw, sliced onions, between two slices of bread, smothered in red cayenne pepper sauce. I'm legendary amongst my co-workers.

    LoL! I can't believe they haven't put 2+2 together...

    You're a Capsaicin addict!

Did you know that peppers, both hot and mild, contain an ingredient that can actually make you feel better? It's called capsaicin, and it's a natural stimulant that causes the release of endorphins. (Endorphins are the body's natural painkiller, and can create a sense of well-being, increase the heart rate and speed up metabolism.) It's no wonder that peppers can actually be habit-forming!

Yeah, I used to take it in capsule form. You can buy it at health food stores (excellent for detox BTW), but I figured, "What the heck! Might as well get the full effect."

    Good stuff...
Cayenne called the "supreme and harmless internal disinfectant." Rebuilds tissue in the stomach and helps heal stomach and intestinal ulcers. Known as the purest and best stimulant in the herb kingdom. Works as a catalyst, carrying all the other herbs quickly to the part of the body where they are needed most.

As a supplement, cayenne pepper has been used for years for cardiovascular support. It cleans the blood and stimulates the entire system. Dr Christopher, one of the leaders in American Herbal medicine, often called Dr Cayenne, used it to help cure almost every malady that appeared in his office. For stomach ulcers, he recommended one teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a glass of water three times a day, and cured many a stomach ulcer. For those of you who balk at drinking really hot cayenne pepper, you may take the capsules, but always with food. However, for a heart attack, the capsules will not work: Dr Christopher witnessed time and time again that one cup of hot cayenne pepper will stop a heart attack in three minutes or less. A good tincture of cayenne (or drops of some of your stronger hot sauce) will also work. Dr Schulze recommends carrying a cayenne tincture with you at all times in the glove compartment of your car. It might be the only first aid you need.

Hahaha! Habaneros will give you a heart attack, not prevent one...
