How's the winter been on that side of the pond?
Here, where we're sopposed to get plenty of snow, we just started getting snow this week, I've never experienced such a warm (+0c - +5c) and dark winter before.

The east seems to be getting the brunt this year. Up in this section of AK, we've gotten more snow and cold this year then in the previous few, but near Anchorage it hasn't been doing much.

27 inches of snow would be enough to drive anyone insane. I don't envy NJ one bit.

We ended up with reports of 8" to 15" across the Rochester region. The official number from the airport was 8", but with all of the wind there was a lot of drifting, so it is difficult to tell just how much fell. I know it took me half an hour to dig out my car yesterday. The snow ended Saturday night, but this morning the roads are still bad because it has been so cold (roughly +/-8 degrees all weekend) that the road salt is ineffective.

We got about 2 feet. In the drifts it is easily 4 feet. In one place behind my house it's over 6'. Hoooya!
