Stargate SG1 and Atlantis are excellant shows. Enterprise and TNG are my favorite ST series, and I also like, TOS, DS9, and Voyager (though, it is a bit dull).

dull?!?!? voyager whooped on the borg and them 8472 freaks, and transphasic torpedoes, how can u say that is dull? lmfao

as for stargate, the movie was good, but the series...the fact that the main weapons used by these guys were the FN P90...umm that gun is used as an alternative to small arms. hardly a assaulyt rifle. pfft if i had those freaks with the ugly helmet armor things on coming at me, id break out the SAW m249 pfft

    bah, 7 of 9 pwnz j00 >_<

Dare I ask how old you are? I mean, 7 of 9 does pwn me, but while Voyager was good, TNG was better. And Stargate is much better. A P90 is easy to handle, why else would they use it? Besides, whether someone gets hit by a P90 or a Saw, they'll still die...

That show really didnt do it for me. I like "the next generation" the best with voyager a distant second. I dislike deep space nine and enterprise. I wont dare toss the original series into this mix as it stands alone.

Enterprise was a real failure with me and I never watched more than a few episodes from the first series. It promised something interesting - the lonely experience of early explorers living on the edge with untested technology in claustrophobic conditions. The reality was a bunch of pampered, improbable characters living in relative luxury, cruising about the galaxy as if they were on a Sunday drive, equipped with all the technology of the future and in near constant communication with 'home'. Where is the adventure or excitement in that? It was just TNG, DS9 and STV rolled into one.

As for the intelligent aliens they encountered in every episode - even the original series managed the budget for a few non-humanoid, incomprehensible aliens from time to time. It even retained the irritatingly politically correct scripts and plots from TNG - the crew and the situations never felt real.
