    You removed my thread?

Any company that has public forums that makes a point of removing any post that is negative about their service, rather than answering the concerns, really does look like it's trying to hide something. My post was not a rant, it was not abusive, it was calm, collected and just stated what we have gone through with our new account. To remove something like that I find rather strange.

You would gain much more praise if you responded to such posts rather than expunging them as if they did not exist.

But why remove my thread? Are you trying to hide that customers are having an issue? How on earth can you expect customers to put trust in a company that removes anything negative (I mean come on, the content of the post wasn't even remotely abusive or nasty), rather than responding to the issues publicly - it would work much more in your favour to be seen to be responding.

You seem to want a "cleansed" forum where anything negative cannot be said with regards to your service, and that leaves me wondering how many other customers have experienced similar problems to ourselves and had their comments removed. And that makes me wonder whether JaguarPC are hiding things.

Im sorry you feel that way but we try to not take part in an arguments or rants on our forums. Instead we address the problem itself. Your original post was that of a support nature and pretty much just a complaint. The post above however seems more of a complaint and rant and I understand its becuase I moved your original thread to a private forum.

Ive addressed you in private about the server issue, which is also mentioned in the news and updates forum, as well as compensation for it. Servers and hardware take dives sometimes and nobody gets around that. We make no claims that our servers wont ever have hardware problems and thats whats happened. We're doing our best to resolve the issue (which has actually been several issues one after another) and it happens sometime. We stand by our service though and have offered compensation even though hardware issues are outside the realm of our or any normal SLA.

Yes I would prefer to have a perfect forum free of problems but we dont. If you hop over to the support forums you'll see issues that happen sometimes that affect entire servers and not just one user having problems with his/her site.

We have nothing to hide and your free to call or even drive on over for a tour if your ever in the area. I hope this has helped clear some of the atmosphere with this thread and appreciate any positive feedback your willing to provide.

    Regards,
    Greg

Evidently, you don't lurk in these forums much. JagPC has their asses handed to them on a regular basis, and 99.9% of the time they let it ride. I can point you to a 'collective rant', for instance, with 450+ posts concerning a hardware problem here:

I can honestly say, IMHO, they aren't trying to hide anything. If that's what you think they're doing, you're barking up the wrong tree...

they dont need to "cleanse" the forums...

99.9% of the people having "problems" caused the problems themselves...

I have been here for years, never had a Major issue, and VERY few small issues

Heck you could just search for posts on Vin's username and find rants that will keep you up all night reading LOL

I've been here for quite a while and had a realative small amount of problems and the service that Jag has given has far outweighed any negatives.

I've been here a couple of years myself and only had one major problem. I ranted and raved and expressed my opinions and the thread stayed. You can search for it and read it yourself.

Other than that one time where the servers were being attacked, I have had very few complaints about the service here at all. They are reliable, support is fast (if you go through the right channels) and communication has gotten much better.

Best to not bite the hand that feeds you. As me grandmammy used to say.
