    Hello Piper,

We haven't started advertising the new GigaDeal X5, but for existing clients we are granting all requests for upgrades right now. Open up a sales ticket and request your upgrade.

I guess I'm missing something, Brandon. Maybe you can explain it...

I recently prepaid a GigaDeal plan for two years. That ciphers to $5.95/mo. I don't understand how $9.95 == $5.95. Are you saying that the 'GigaDeal X5' is the same price, and all I/we have to do is submit a request to sales via the ticket system?

Doh! Never mind. I get it...

After reading your replies a few dozen times, I finally figured out what you're saying:

    GigaDeal or GigaDeal X5
    • $9.95/mo (paid monthly)
    • $7.95/mo (1 year prepaid)
    • $5.95/mo (2 year prepaid)

Same prices (plural), not the same price right?

LoL! Sorry for the confusion! I guess I've been a hacker for too long. One semi-colon, or whatever, out of place and the script won't run, you know?

EDIT: Um.. I do have it now, right?

You know, I just did a little more ciphering...

If you extended the payment plans to 5 years, you could give away hosting for free!
    • $9.95/mo (paid monthly)
    • $7.95/mo (1 year prepaid)
    • $5.95/mo (2 year prepaid)
    • $3.95/mo (3 year prepaid)
    • $1.95/mo (4 year prepaid)
    • -$.05/mo (5 year prepaid)

    Just an idea...

    Hey Vin,

Sorry for the late response, but it looks as though you worked through the pricing verbage on your own. Sorry If I wasn't clear on my explanation. It always makes more sense in my head.

I think the semi-dedicated plan will effectively be replaced by the VPS offer(s).

[Finland, eh? If you're in Turku, I'll bet you a beer over it an see you this summer for settling the score ]

BTW, Vin: why don't you become a reseller here and then use that pricing model?

    I think there'll be a semi-dedicated plan and a VPS plan.

I won't put a bet on it, because I don't want to take advantage of you.
