I don't know quite how to say it, but the tech support at jaguar appears to be very unhelpful today, insisting the problem is my end, and not theres. Here's a rehash of the entire events, and I'll try not to sound too negative.
I have a php script that when ran will ftp files from one server onto your own. The script will ftp over about 1,300 files, and it takes about 3 minutes tops.
The script works completely fine with a few other hosts (where I maybe moving very shortly after all this). This script also works for me on one of my sites with jaguar, which resides on your patriot server. I even just ran it, and it ftp'd everything in 2:07 minutes.
However, the script is not running on either of jaguars freedom or siberia servers.
Tech support is telling me debug the script, although theres nothing wrong with it.
Also, in a related post, I had tech enable shell access on the accounts, and I can not ftp wildcard or *.* an entire directory via shell.
So, in summary. I have a script that I know works 100%, and even works on one of jaguars own servers, the patriot server. Yet there telling me that the script is wrong because it will not work on either the freedom or siberia server
same script, 3 different servers.
It appears the only help tech support is good at today is passing the buck around saying its somebody elses problem.
btw, to all your fantasy footballers out there. This is commissioner software i'm talking about, and if anybody is interested in a great program, go visit //www.marino.st
