VCU STUDY SHOWS BIG-BRAINED PEOPLE ARE SMARTER

    SOURCE: http://www.vcu.edu/uns/Releases/2005/june/061705.html

I wear a size 8 hat, when I can find one. One-size-fits-all caps don't work for me; looks like I'm squeezing on my little brother's hat. I have to special order motorcycle helmets, yada, yada, yada...

    Anyone else have this 'problem'?

...and we thought the swelled head was from the praised lavished upon you by the great unwashed!

(Maybe the'll do a study that says: People with larger stomachs tend to have bigger appetites!)

Congrats on your, uhhhh... hmmmmm..... what? Giant Skull!?!

Alas... "The external skull measurements were only approximate estimates of brain volume."

Just because you were stood on your head during your formative years, and bulged around the middle....

Heh! I think the point of that was, they don't have to open your skull and scoop your brain out to measure it now, with MRIs...

    Not to worry.

Another group of researchers from the highly revered Institute of Those With Not Enough To Do and Needing Grant Money will conduct a competitively peer-reviewed series "proving" that MRI-measured cerebrums from the larger-skulled Homo sapiens tended to have synapses 25% wider than the smaller-skulled resulting in delayed axon firing, slower response times, and tendencies of dementia making such specimens 3.32765 x 10^2% less efficient than small-brainers at figuring out how to put a square peg in a round whole, 1.5765 x 10^2% less efficient at figuring out how to put a square peg in a square hole, and, thus, wholly unsuited for even the most trivial tasks.

There will also be a third study confirming the speculation that the scientists conducting the first comprehensive study were insecure, attention-craving, large-skulled, middle-aged men looking for a raise.

Vin we all know you have the big head. Just didn't realize it affected you hat size.

Just because the bowl is big, it doesn't necessarily mean there's a lot of fruit salad in there...
