Lightbulb Spybot S&D Users - Confirmation boxes giving you fits?

I don't know if anybody here is using Spybot S&D v1.4, but if you are, and the Spybot S&D Resident Teatimer confirmation boxes are driving you crazy, I found a fix...

    downloaded s&d 1.4RC2b from

    ftp://fx1.hrz.uni-dortmund.de/sw_dat...botsd14rc2.exe

start setup but if you have installed spybot already choose a diffrent installation path. after finishing setup go to the folder and copy teatimer.exe (version 1.4.0.1) to another place.

delete the installation folder of s&d 1.4RC2b

reinstall s&d 1.4 and pay attention on selecting the original installation folder

finally copy the teatimer.exe from elsewere you stored it to the s&d programm folder and replace the one which is in there.

it works fine and havent had any problem yet.

    No takers, huh?

What do you guys run for malware protection? I use a combination of Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware SE. Seems to be pretty effective!

I didn't know there was a new version of s&d.

I use AVG, Microsoft AntiSpyware, Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D
