This backup services is an ftp backup service you can access on your own that spans a new nas we have in place. Our managed backup service that we provide also backs up to a nas but we run several nas devices. It isnt guaranteed that the managed services nas backups would be on a different nas then your ftp backup service but it is possible. If you subscribed to both our managed backup service and this ftp service you managed yourself, yes there would be two seperate instances of your data backed up.

To add on to what Greg mentioned already, you will be able to utilize this backup space via not only FTP, but also SFTP, SCP, or Rsync over SSH allowing you to choose your favorite method. Eventually, we'll also have a basic script available to you that can be personalized and run via cron if you like.
Can you narrow down "eventually" to "maybe a week", "maybe a month", or "maybe 3 months" kind of a timeframe?
