Beta testers needed

Please pm me (Jag) here in our forums with your client section email address if you want to help us beta test the nixcore client section please.

What is Nixcore?
Nixcore is a client managment, support system, and billing system developed right here for Jaguarpc and its clients. It will be released to our clients at first and may head on to the commercial product if enough interest exists.

We need people to just work through using the system like they would normally and report bugs. It shouldnt be too different from using the existing jaguar client section. This stage is the framework with all existing jaguar functionality rewritten and integrated as part of NixCore.

We will add and test many new features still in development and slated to be added in future releases at a later time.

Testing will begin this Thurday Nov 24, 2005.

We will open the entire system, admin and client, for beta testing after we are happy with the results of the client section. This new system is far faster than the existing one and worlds more flexible.

I am still a month or 2 out from public release of my lastest project but if you dont mind a "soon to be again"

reseller testing it out, I would be happy to.

I have "an account" just not a "reseller" account, normal gigadeal for my personal site

I was wondering this exactly, especially since it's in the "reseller forum".

Any ideas as to what feedback would be helpful other than regular use, working or not.

If the system does break for some reason how do we access support instead?

No, we arent looking for other feedback like reports or anything. We are just looking for bugs or things that arent working or implemented properly or could be done better.

We will expand on this idea and systems rapidly starting jan 2006.

There is no support for the beta, its just a testing grounds. There is a beta forum here where you can report bugs or dicuss the beta.

The beta is open to all clients, not just resellers or a specific type. Any client of ours can beta test this new system we are working on.

For support I was wondering how we access it if the system breaks since this will be a complete replacement of the current account manager her at Jag. Won't it?

In other words, do I have a way to open a support ticket if the new system goes down?

No, its not replacing anything live you have. Yes one day it will become the replacement but no its run seperately using a seperate db from our actual live clients.
