    Datacentre slow connection?

Since the hardware failure at the datacentre, I have noticed that now the server speeds seem to be much more slower. I average 100-110ms for jaguarpc.com and also for all of my sites.
I also have some clients overseas and they reflect this observation to an even greater extent.
So now I was wondering if Jaguar PC plans to upgrade/revert it's datacentre connection.

    Thanks for your reply.
I was not sure whether this issue would qualify as a support ticket, but I have opened one now.

Hardware failure? Was that referring to the one server that had problems a few days ago?

oh, dont worry about if it qualifies..
the support staff is great, and they are there to help, and they do an awesome job. if you have any qquestiosn about your service, or a potential impact let them know.

and, i dont think the slowness was caused by any hardware failure, the only recent failures that were annoucned were on a server or two, but those would not affect the whole network

I dunno to what he was referring, but I also opened a ticket for slow network connectivity this evening. This was the second evening in a row that I ahd a problem, I didn't open a ticket last night.

It was fixed nearly immediately; either you guyz were already working it, or something just needed a good swift kick in the chips.

I said this elsewhere, and didn't get any bites, but I have a feeling that it's all Yipes fault -- at least that's what I've noticed on THIS end, doing trace routes, and so forth. Everything is fine until the connection gets to Yipes in Houston...

Am I flipping out? Wasn't this problem traced to Yipes before? Isn't that the reason JagPC quit using them for IP's, et cetera?

My traceroutes indicated a problem at the nocdirect router, for whatever that's worth.

    Okay, it's not just me.

28+ mins to FTP upload a 1.3 meg file. (At least that is what it said, I gave up).

Users from all over USA can not or give up trying to connect to my site. I can't make a post / refreash a page myself.

And, this is my 2nd attempt to make this post here. So, I'm having problems on this forum too. I just figured it was my own forum.

    My CPanel is the same.

It was running better this afternoon than it has for some time for me. But around 5:00pm PST it started to slow up. I'm up near Seattle and we have had a lot of storms here. So, I thought it might just be here.

My trace routes get hung @ 69.7.160.227

Hmm, it's I all I can think of. Hope some of this might help. Thanks folks!

Okay, my site is smoking at the moment...

    Alright, spoke to soon.

It worked better than ever For about 20 mins or so last night as soon as I posted my other message. It's back to grinding for my group and myself..

So, following that line of thought, I'm editing this post to get it going again..

But it was nice while it lasted.. Those were the best 20 mins of my life...

I just submitted a ticket for this reason and didn't think to check the forums before doing it.

I'm havin intermittent problems when I use SSH and my forum does take a while to load.

Mine's been really shady for the last day and a half too. It was fine this morning and now it's acting up again. It takes a couple of minutes to load a page...but it comes and goes.

Masood posted an update about the problem... it seems the network engineers found the problem...
