    Exclamation Email Issue?

When sending emails to certain business clients, I am getting this failure message:

Recipient Rejected! From domain "joshuabrownfoundation.com" has delivery restrictions in place. No SMTP mail relay is allowed.

This occurs when using my mail server, mail.joshuabrownfoundation.com, with Outlook 2003. Why is this?

It means that it failed to authenticate you as a legitimate sender for that domain and thus refuses to send that e-mail - as otherwise by the end of the day half the spammers in the world would be using Jagpc to relay their mail.

You can authenticate in two ways:
1 - best probably) Find the settings for outgoing mail for this account in outlook and thick the box that says something like "outgoing mail - verification required for this server" and then make the settings by pressing the button close to it and entering your account data (the same you use to fetch the mail from the server). [I don't use this Outlook myself so this is a rough description of the settings that should be in there somewhere, not one exact down to the letter.]
    or
    2) Make sure your client will allways fetch whatever mail is there just prior to sending out mail. -- Almost all servers I know of accept this too: they'll keep the authentication you got when fetching the mail for a few minutes so you can send with it as well.

Most likely this keeping of the authentication is also what now causes you to say "certain business clients", as it could indeed make the problem show up intermittently: just after you fetched your mail you will already be able to send, without having looked after these settings. However, if you send another mail some 15 minutes later, authentication will have timed out and the mail will be rejected.
