parts,pc's and servers for sale

We have an overstock and old stock that ive decided to sell off. All spare parts were replaced with never hardware matching new server builds we are about to offer. We have a larger overstock we are going to ditch at near free prices. Ive moved the sale/offers forum up here to assit with that effort.

Ever wonder where jaguarpc got its name? Well the jaguar part actually stems from a family nickname and the pc was... yup from our orignal days of selling pc's. I dont know how many hundreds of pc's and servers I have built over the days but lately with the parts sell it got me thinking. Is there any interest from people to have a high end system like those from Alienware, but with a custom jag case, support, and personal touch? I love to build high end systems and see how far I can push them. And that could go for servers as well. Anyone have an interest in owning a jag pc or server? colo wouldnt have to be done with us on a server sale, although we may be able to arrange incentives for that. Just curious what the feel is for this type of thing.

This is not a definitely or even going to happen soon thing. I just want to feel out this question.

Sounds like a great idea. Being in Melbourne, Australia, I'm unlikely to get you to build one for me a get it shipped here! But colocation might be an option down the track.

Had always meant to ask you guys about the sort of configs you run when next I'm buying a server. Figure you guys should have a good handle on what's reliable and servicable at a good price point.

That's definitely an interesting Idea. I usually build my own machines so that I only have to replace the most necessary parts. But it's been a few years or so since I've upgraded anything, so i've been considering buying a complete machine all at once. Generally generic box machines don't really meet my expectations. So if I could get a complete machine that I knew would be both fast and quiet from someone that knew what they were doing... well then I might just do that. I'm probably not in the market for a few months, but it would be interesting to hear more about the kinds of machines you're building and what kind of prices you're looking to charge.

Pity you're so far off. I'm looking for a simple development / testing box. Simple means just that: anything 500Mhz+ should do just fine (no screen, keyboard, mouse or such needed).

Greg you really need to do a 301 redirect from the www version to the non www version.
