If it was me, I'd wake him up in the middle of the night, stick a gun in his mouth, and beat him with a rubber hose until he tells you. That's what they do in Muslim colleges!

Did he declare in his "rules of engagement" that such tactics are acceptable?

If not, then I think you are barking up the wrong tree here requesting undeserved assistance while using academic fraud to cheat your way through the course.

Furthermore, who would trust you, blindly and anonymously, to engage in what may be criminal activities? How does anyone know you are who you say you are, have the project you say you have, and have the willing target you say you have? For all anyone knows, you may have some nefarious plan to sabotage a professor because you are a disgruntled student and have payback in mind... or maybe you just want to cheat more effectively. Who knows?

Maybe you could post your name, the school, the professor, and a syllabus describing the project.

C'mon, Vin. If you're the only 1 that kan help him/her, s/he'll appreciate it. Isn't such consolation worth the ethical lapse and legal risk?

If you are taking a psychology course, using a keylogger is likely not what the professor has in mind.

Same goes for a course in ethics, criminology, probability, computer science, etc.

Using a keylogger may very well get you expelled and leave you facing criminal charges. (Imagine not being able to touch a computer for the next 5 years) If you did place a keylogger, and it cannot be traced to you, and you cannot remove it without risk of detection -- leave it there and forget about it. Don't compound one HUGE mistake with another. And don't be stupid and think that confession and remorse will save you.

Go on with **************************************** *** and don't ask me to help you break the law.

Please accept this response for the requested you directed to me.

    Now, for the real response.

If you were smart enough to get a keylogger installed on his computer, you wouldn't need our help ERGO (college word) you must be a poser and or a hoser. Either way,...disappear before I get all Vin on your a$$. (My contribution to NetSlang lol.)

Just give him one of those lovely custard buns with all the powdered sugar up top just before he logs in and read the password from the keyboard shortly after

    networking!?

If it was a networking class (yay Cisco<3) then you could really impress your teacher with a packet sniffer, *AHEM* that's another story. I don't have an AIM screenname, so don't PM me. I do have a hotmail sn, but I'll be d@mn3d (my slang contri ) if I'll give it to one who is trying to engage in *risky* activities. And finally, I believe that you sir, need to work more on your college work, and less on short-cuts.
