Exclamation WOOT!!! Google finally fixed their Firefox 2.0 Toolbar!!!

This had been driving me nuts!

Every Google Toolbar I've used has highlighted the old search query when you clicked it, and when you started typing, the old search query would disappear. However, a while back, when Google Toolbar for Firefox 2.0 came on the scene, when you clicked the search bar, the old search query stayed there -- so, you had to click the bar, delete the old search manually, then type the new one.

    Gawd! This was a PITA!!!

Well, tonight, I was prompted to upgrade my Google Toolbar -- and after months of this BS -- they finally fixed the problem. Now it acts like it's supposed to...

Anyway, if this bugs you as much as it did me, upgrade, and you'll be pleasantly surprised!

I get bugged by all toolbars, im the toolbars worst enemy! I terminate anything that has anything to do with toolbars. But it does indeed sound like an annoying thing, good that even the mighty google listens to its customers, just hope Microsoft starts to do the same!

Google Toolbar for Firefox 2.0 is great, especially if you use the custom layouts, but that bug was killing me...

One feature everyone can appreciate is the integrated spell checker -- checks the spelling in forms, like the one I'm typing in right now.

You should give it a try! It might change your mind about toolbars...

That's the brilliance of the custom layouts, Alex!

When you use Firefox for your browser, you get a search feature, whether or not you want one! Look to the right of the addy bar -- what do you see? Most ppl try to ignore it...

With Google Toolbar for Firefox 2.0 you can 'remodel' that wasted piece of real estate...

Personally, I simply replace the POS default Firefox search box and leave the tool bar for word searches and so forth, but for ppl like yourself, you can hide everything -- making Google Toolbar virtually transparent!

If you'll pardon the pun, here are some visuals for you...

Heh! Don't be afraid -- Google Toolbar for Firefox 2.0 won't bite you!
