It doesn't seem like anyone fully understood Snow's concern. I have a client wondering the same thing. Let me spell it out....
Here are different ways to get to google.com
GooGle.com
GOOGLE.com
google.com
Google.com
gooGLE.com
Whatever you type in your address bar, it doesn't matter. You'll get to www.google.com. HOWEVER, what if you wanted the end result to always be...
www.Google.com instead of www.google.com
...no matter what you typed in above? That was Snow's question. So would this be along the lines of an .htaccess rewrite or something?
I am also wondering if there is a way to force the browser to display the "branded url" if you will in the address bar.
