What happened to the FireFox site?

I was trying to find it today to find a down load and the first two pages at Google point to Mozilla downloads. They say they are firefox downloads but that is not true as far as I can tell.

I want to upgrade from FireFox 1.0.4 to 1.7 which is what prompted the search.

Don't have time to investigate what you're talking about, Connie, however, I recommend that you try the Firefox 1.0.8 Pacifica tinderbox builds. That's what I use, so you'll be in good company...

On the main Firefox site (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/), I see 1.504 as the most current version. Is the 1.7 file one of the nightly builds the developers are working on?

I also think I read somewhere version 2.0 is suppose to come out in the next several months.

You can always go to http://getfirefox.com/, which in turn will send you to http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/. From there you can point-and-click a download. Oh, and the latest stable build is indeed, as JonathanB pointed out, 1.504.
