    Personally, since I was familiar with the thread I might have deleted the opening post (and poster) and left the rest, but that's just me.

    It may have been me. Wait, it was me... among who knows who else. I added on to the thread, made some comments about taste, hydrochloric acid, peaches, and the answer to life.

    Then, I think I added another post thanking someone for reminding us about the "report post" icon. I tried it for grins since it had been years since I last used it, and by golly, it worked! I'd kinda like the thread to remain and the spam to disappear, but I'll take what I can get... rid of.

    I hope this satisfies the thread resurrection effort.

    BTW, Les, I know this isn't a REAL forum, e.g. mission critical to the core site... However, on all the sites I admin, 'we' don't delete threads -- yes, individual post, but NOT threads.

    What 'we' do is MOVE threads to a non-public area. That way, innocent ppl don't lose post counts, and so forth -- and the OP can be reviewed by other admins and/or even resurrected.

    This is SOP in most forums...
