    Welcome to version 2.8.2 which fixes an XSS vulnerability and a few bugs. Our documentation now officially states that your browser must accept cookies for normal operation with phpMyAdmin.

    • XSS vulnerability from requests not containing a token

    My pleasure!

    2.8.2 seems to be working nicely! I was getting some weird errors with 2.8.1 when deleting multiple tables. It worked, but gave me some false errors - never could put a finger on it. These seemed to have disappeared in version 2.8.2, so no matter -- haven't run across any problems at all...

    Well, except for a couple of cosmetic bugs that they fixed for the yet to be released version 2.9.0. Heh! Sometimes I don't understand those guys!

    One of the bugs is on the cookie auth login page (which most ppl are using these days). The width of the forms are out of control.

    The other concerns the char sets not wrapping on the runtime variables page, causing the other settings to be displayed off the screen, to the right of the page.

    I've patched both of these problems, so if you need a fix, let me know and I'll put these hacks on my FTP server for downloading...
