When would you expect to have another VPS special?
Heh, sorry folks. I know I mentioned a special for last month but my Atlanta trip and the fact that we can barely keep a node on the shelf right now without specials has delayed that special. I'll get a Halloween special prepared. Lets try to fill a record number of nodes before 2007.

Quick question. If I purchase a "Freedom Plan" now... and you ever DO actually come up with a specialthat includes my VPS plan, will I be able to take advantage of that special for the following months with the VPS plan I currently have, or would it only be for new customers?

If you signup within 30 days of a new special we can apply it to your current new account.

But... let's say I have been a customer for 6 months and a new special comes along. Can I take advantage of the new special beginning the next month's billing? (I'm not asking about anything retroactive, I just want to know if an existing customer can get a better deal down the line if you are offering it.)
Here's what I am considering... I will go ahead and start a VPS account with you now IF I can take advantage of your "Halloween" special when/if it comes out. Otherwise I wait for the special.

If theres a better deal in 6 months you would have to buy a new vps to switch to it. We have to be careful that we dont have clients double dip so to speak where you signed up under one special with XYZ bonuses then a little later get another bonus stacked on top of it, just isnt fair to our other clients and of course doesnt do anything to make us money.
If you have a vps now though under no special then yes you can get the Halloween special applied to your account. You can reference my post here if need be, but that wont be necessary. As Sarah said we will retro any account to a special if they signed up withint 30 days of the special and they didnt take part in any other special.

Unfortunately we aren't currently running a special, however if one is available within 30 days of your signup we would quite happily apply the special to your account
