    The Strategic Plan

The Great Houston Partnership came out with the Strategic Plan in the year 2005, after re-examining the organizations direction. The Strategic Plan listed the ways and strategies of achieving the goals set by the Partnership. The plan compiles a step-by-step process towards the accomplishment of the objectives of the Partnership.

The first part of the plan includes the Mission which talks of the Mission statement, the Mission focus, Mission Directives (1 & 2).
The second part of the Strategic Plan includes the Vision i.e. where the partnership visualizes itself, 10 year down the line. The Partnership’s first Vision is to retain the status of Houston as a ‘Business Magnet’. Secondly, it would facilitate initiatives to establish Houston as a Gateway to the Global Markets. Thirdly, it would act to build and maintain and infrastructure and business environment that sets Houston apart from the rest.

The Strategic Plan will act as the North Star for The Great Houston Partnership, guiding and directing them toward the goals set by them, for the next 10 year. This Plan will help the Partnership to focus on major areas with an emphasis on public policy and business development.

The Greater Houston Partnership was formed to promote further business in this business friendly city. The Partnership is a joint effort comprising of hundred’s of business luminaries from different walks of life. Some of the cherished members of the community are Chip Carlisle, Chairman, John Hofmeister, Vice-Chairman, Jeff Mosley, President. The honorable board members include Drew Alexander, Howard T.Ayers, Mike Ballases, Richard W.Weekley and many more.

I might go throw my self off a building.
