A power strip is jsut a few bucks, but a remote reboot power device like the ones we use, 30amps 16 port, power readings, etc, cost $600-800 depending on where you get them, x the number of racks/servers .

Why do you have a remote reboot device, why can't you just use ssh & type "shutdown -r now" ?

Eh.. this stuff is about dedicated and colocated boxes, Vin. (Though I know you'd like to be able to reboot "your" server .) If they freeze up, it's generally not JagPC's affair.

Is it an extra here though, or is it included with a dedicated / colocated box? I couldn't find anything about it either way (on the servers & add-ons pages)..

Free Reboots under managed services included in all levels

However not sure if it's a jag support guy/gal running to the server and press a button or if theres a remote reboot thingy, but I do guess on the last scenario
