    Who is to blame? Commentary

This really is just a commentary on current problems at Jaguar.
I just thought that a step back and a check of the past would help.

Lately most clients have noticed a huge increase in problems at Jaguar. Websites down, services not installed correctly, support taking long time to reply to posts.

So who is to blame for this?

Most irate clients right now would probably point to Jaguar. Of course Jaguar has to accept some blame for some of the problems but is it right to blame them for everything?

Most will also remember that before the moves began Jaguar asked if people would prefer to allow them to have a major down time for about two or three days. This would allow all servers to
transfer at once. A majority of customers, including myself were against it.

So now as servers are moved one at a time there are problems.
People, including myself, complain when a server goes down for a few hours or even a day.

Would it have been better to allow a sudden move? Maybe all the small problems would have never happened. Maybe they would have spent 2 days moving the sites and the last day working them to be sure they were all running correctly.

I am not saying dont post if there is a problem. Im just saying Jaguar cant be blamed for everything. WE asked for a slow process, so maybe a little more patience should be used?

When your site is down it is hard not to pop off some flaming post about it. But maybe since we wanted the slower, maybe buggier move, we should calm down and let it run the course.

But on that note, we are clearing up all the problems with the moves from Dialtone and those clients should be enjoying our stability at Houston 100% very shortly.

But now, we've started with the Aletia client moves to Houston.... Im excited to be in this position but I will be so happy when everyone is under one roof, our roof!

    Hadn't thought of that, sorry.

Imagine what a relief they, Jaguar workers, will have when the move is over

... and keep in mind that they had a lot of work with angry Aletia-customers that were on instable servers.

I appreciate the fact they went through the trouble to move Eagle early and did something similar for another server.

Greg, take a day off. Family is important!
