    I found these on my e-mail, is there a problem with my VPS. Or it's just normal thing. ?


    lfd failed @ Thu Nov 9 16:09:28 2006. A restart was attempted automagicly.

    spamd failed @ Thu Nov 9 14:46:08 2006. A restart was attempted automagicly.

    cpsrvd failed @ Thu Nov 9 02:52:05 2006. A restart was attempted automagicly.

    spamd is a spam filtering daemon. The others are assuredly daemons of some other sort though I don't know what they do offhand. If they restart on their own, there's probably nothing to worry about. Automatic updates, cron jobs, and other sysadmin routines can cause a daemon to start/restart on its own. That is often normal. If they continue to submit warnings about a restart attempt numerous times within a short timeframe, then you may have a problem and that will require scanning the server logs for problems.

    Log in to your VPS if you are concerned and check if they are operational after such restarts.
