New Site Design

WOW, I love this new look.

Plus I think th Restructuring on the main site is better now as well. I have not looked at it too indeoth because I am in a hotel in Greensboro NC with a crappy net connection, but from what I did look at it is a great improvement..

Yeah, I like the new look, too, especially the homepage. Like the_ancient I haven't looked too deeply into the site yet, but the few pages I've seen so far look great. The homepage is much cleaner then it was in the old design.

My only complaint so far is that the new cPanel skin is a little too monochrome. A little more blue in there somewhere, such as in the background color of the left side feature list or the bullets of the links in the two right-hand columns might help. Not too much blue, but just a bit to give a little more color depth.

I must say the redesign isn't rally my taste, but I'll get used to it (right now it feels more like phpNuke rather than web 2.0).

The main font size is too small (but that is fo course easily changeable in the browser) and the new cpanel design is... messy, kind of (which partly is a result of me used to a different design).

Well, others seems very happy so it's probably just me.

Just thought id point out that on the VPS

The "FREE Level 2 Managed services" link actually points to backup services part. Instead of the Managed Servies page.

Can't be that hard, can it? Times or no, vast majority is still IE6. (Which is exactly why I use it too; most direct way of feedback on whatever I'm working on. )

I didnt do this vb theme, I hate vb templating so I had the forum theme guys do it. Lots of our visitors use IE too. They probably dont realize half of the missing or broken things on the web. I actually took care on this design to make it look the same in many browsers. Guess part of this vb theme just didnt make it for IE.

Overall I like the new design, but the fonts here in the forum are WAY too small.

Looking at the style sheet, the base font is 8pt! On my monitor (set at 1152x864) that ends up being minuscule.

The main JaguarPC site has a base font of 12px. Why is the base font so small in the forums?
