I owned a PS3 for exactly 15 days. Soon as I found out HDMI had DRM in the freqin CABLE I took that crap back to the shop. Then I went on a fanboy inspired rant everywhere.

So I'm stuck, need display, HATE hdmi, .... so stuck...

    SOMEONE INVENT SOMETHING BETTER!

    How about...

    Westinghouse 37" LCD HDTV - LTV-37W2

    or
Sharp Aquos LC37D40U 37" LCD HDTV with Integrated ATSC Tuner

    Here's a good deal, I think...
VIZIO L37 37-Inch High Definition Widescreen LCD TV (Silver/Black) - Grade B Refurbished

There seems to be plenty of choice on the market -- unless I misunderstand for what you are looking.
    Good luck

I agreed with that before PS3 announced that they will be using Blu-Ray. It looks like blu-ray is here to stay for a while.

Dell is perfectly fine and what's nice is they usually don't charge you shipping and handling. I would shop around your local electronic store first though to see if they have any good deals. Anything Sony, Phillips, or Samsung will be just as good. Try to stay away from brands like Westinghouse. Most of these discount companies do use the same LCD screen as most of the others but their construction is much cheaper and its prone to failure.

    Beg to differ...

Have you SEEN Blu-ray in action?

you and Vin Both can mark my Words, Sony Killed Blu-Ray by Ousting the Adult Entertainment Market (porn) which has officially adopted HD-DVD, Sony did the same thing with BETA, Do you have a BETA player????? Did you have VHS which was adopted by porn????

Blu-Ray may still hold in there for awhile, but HD-DVD is the next VHS

Edit: and OFCOURSE PS3 had blu-ray, Sony has Spent ALOT of time and money Developing Blu-Ray you think they would have stuck HD-DVD (which is developed by competitors Toshiba and NEC sponsored by the DVD Forum) in one of their own Products

I'm not disputing any of that. However, in a couple of years when you can buy a PS3 for $100 virtually everyone in this country will have a bluray player in their house that is built into the PS3. Because of this it is here to stay.
