Big news from the people at Six Apart. MovableType 4 was released as a public beta today.

I've been playing around for a couple of hours (sorry to the people on olympia) after I finally managed to get the durn thing installed. MT4 is very, very, very different from what we've been used to in previous versions and I am not sure I like it. Shiny new UI, but it doesn't feel intuitive like the old one and templates have been fragmented to the point where I know I'll be spending a lot more time working on templates than producing content which I know I don't like
