I've got 17 days to go before baby pops out- if it comes on time that is.

We've got a first name picked out - Olivia. And the middle name was supposed to be Alora - but hubby is not certain anymore. Any suggestions for a middle name? I like cheyenne - but that didnt get by hubby either.

Have you checked back through your genealogy? Some names become timeless when they are used by family through the centuries. However, you might want to avoid Gertrude or Hortense - apologies in advance if these names are liberally sprinkled in the bloodline!

Since Olivia is a three syllable name, it might make her name roll off the tongue better if her middle name was one syllable.

I couldn't think of one better than Ron's suggestion of Olivia Rose. But then I have fond memories of a former girlfriend named Rose...

I agree...and I do like Rose. Unfortunately I'm worried its too close to my dogs name. Her name is Rosie ^_^

Since my youngest sister was born after my grandmother passed away my dad wanted to pay tribute when he named my sister. He decided to name her Kelly Caroline, Caroline being my grandmother's middle name. He said there was no way he was naming his daughter Gertrude.

I like Olivia Rose myself, but I understand your concern with the name being so close to the dog's. I like Jag's suggestion of Olivia Grace, too. I'm personally not that crazy about Olivia Jane.
