Thumbs up Firefox Users - This Theme is a Hoot!

I've been using Phoenix/Firebird/Firefox since the day (or maybe the month) that it came out...

I accidentally discovered it while looking for a version of Netscape that actually worked.

Anyway, since the time that themes were added, I've probably used 2-3 different ones - creature of habit, that I am.

LoL! Well, a few days ago, I ran across this one, and it's a hoot!

    Vista-aero 2.0.0.8

Hey, IE 7.0 copied Firefox - what's good for the goose is good for the gander, right?

I love this theme! I've caught myself, several times, looking to see if I was using IE 7 or Fx... and I don't plan to switch themes anytime soon!

    Check it out...

I guess you gotta be an IE-7 fan to like that one.

My favorite right now is metal lion - vista:

A few years ago one of my firends installed Firefox on his parent's computer, and then used a theme that looked like IE6, so his folks wouldn't have to "learn new software."

I guess I'm boring too (using the default theme).

    Here's the deal...

Somehow I totally avoided WinXP. Pretty good, huh - considering it's a 6 year-old OS!

I've been running W2K Pro instead, all this time, skinned with WindowBlinds and ObjectDock...

That was, until last week, when I graduated to Vista Home Premium and IE 7.0 on my new lappy.

Seemed like a natural progression to skin Fx with a IE 7.0 theme on the notebook, so they look the same, and I'm loving it so far!

I've been running the default theme for a while now, too. I've used a handful of themes over the couple of years I've been using Firefox (how many has it been now, exactly???), originally Phoenity and then Noia (and a couple of others in there from time to time) until I ran ito a couple of extensions that didn't work correctly with Noia. I reverted to default as it was "safe," but I should try using them again.

I hate the new IE interface, though, so I won't be using Vin's new discovery...

I'm currently running Vista Home Premium on a new laptop and I have mixed feelings about it. I held off on XP for a while, but I've been running it for probably five years now and never had a problem with it. The flashier interface took a little getting used to coming from Win2K at first, but then so does the Vista interface now.

What bugs me about the IE7 interface, and the new microsoft office interface (I have to use that at work) is they completely did away with the industry standard menus at the top of every program (File, Edit, View, Tools, Help, etc).

I know you can get those menus back in IE7 so it not that much of an issue, but those idiotic ribbons in office are lame.
