    Status2k

Well I found this pretty cool server monitoring script but for some reason it is not accurately depicting cpu usage.. the script i found was status2k... i know a couple of people on this forum use it but what makes no since is the cpu usage is no where near what the script says... if i check it via ssh it is around 15% and on the script it is around 60-100%... has anyone else that has used this script had the same issue???

If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce today would cost $100, get a million miles to the gallon, and explode once every few weeks.

My scripts never have bugs. They just develop random features.

To the point, why do you care about the CPU usage?

And, if you actually knew what the CPU usage was, what would you do with this info?

    Just curious...

well i paid for a script so i expect it to work properly.. i really have no need for the cpu usage but its part of the script and if that doesnt work right how do i know the rest of it works correctly?

Ok well the most common problem would be that you have set the load values incorrectly.

How many processors is does the SDX server have?

Ok well the reason why you are getting the wrong values is you have set it up wrong. your load values are 3.20 / 2.00

Go into general settings and scroll down the page until you see ExtraLoad: - this has to be set to 0

Well looking at your status script the load is looking seriously high - over 7. I have never had this problem before but it may be because im running it on a vps. I would submit a support ticket to Status2k from your client area.
