anyone have any suggestions when it comes to software to use on a PC Based security camera DVR? preferably free... I have an old computer ...

    PC Based DVR

    anyone have any suggestions when it comes to software to use on a PC Based security camera DVR? preferably free... I have an old computer with some good specs for an old comp so i thought id make it useful and dig out the old security cams ive got... i have a pci based 4 channel card just need the software... anyone used any good ones that i should try?

    not really.. i am looking for more of a surveillance system type software

    Like most Linux apps it offers a lot of command line control though, so perhaps it is flexible enough (or someone has even already tried it / written some scripts)?
