    If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce today would cost $100, get a million miles to the gallon, and explode once every few weeks.

    Frankly if we're fantasizing, I'd rather see a parking lot filled with beat up chevys and learn the employees had found religion had taken a vow of poverty.

    Oh, was that out loud?

    Really, a lot filled with Jags would be funny, but JAG's truck is pretty nice.
    A friends father had a Jag dealership -- I drove an XJ-6 once, never was allowed in the XJ-12. Of course that was 30 years ago, give or take.
    Good luck

    None , jaguarpc has nothing to do with the jaguar cars. Only one I remotely like is the xj and even then I could think of a lot of other things Id rather get for that.

    No Jaguar for me, just your average run of the mill economy car. Good on gas but not too fast.

    I've got a 2002 Nissan Xterra with just under 100k miles on it. All I've ever had to do to the thing, aside from the routine oil changes and stuff, is redo the brakes and replace the tires.

    Prior to buying the X, I had a 99 Kia Sephia (bought it as a cheap "reliable" car while I was in college). What a piece of ****! I put three new transmissions in the thing in the three years that I had it and it only had about 20k miles on it when I traded it in. Luckily they were all covered by my warranty.

    @Jag,

    No, not really. But it was an OK cheap car that got me through college. Since I didn't do much driving back then I guess it met my needs. Once I got a full time job and saved up a little money I bought the Xterra and haven't looked back.

    How tall are you? I'm 6'4" and fell perfectly comfortable in the drivers seat. Granted, I do keep the seat all the way back, but the same goes for pretty much any car I drive.
