    Thumbs down SUP with Winamp?

I've been waiting, a couple of months, for Winamp to release a Vista-compatible version.

5.35 is supposed to support Vista, but Winamp is (ahem) playing some sort of '10' game!

Look at the count-down clock: http://www.winamp.com/

WTF? Why do they think it's necessary to release 5.35 on 10/10 @ 10:10:10 ?!?!?!?

    What a bunch of idiots...

If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce today would cost $100, get a million miles to the gallon, and explode once every few weeks.

My scripts never have bugs. They just develop random features.

Winamp runs fine on my vista machine. I don't like winamp, so I never use it, but it does run perfectly fine....

    I hear ya!

And, I agree! Most complaints about Vista are just so much drivel... however, I'm going by the 'known issues' that are documented on the official Winamp site!

BTW, I've been using ReadyBoost for a few days, on my lappy, and it works great! Started with 1GB - now I'm up to 4GB ReadyBoost + 2GB RAM. Have you tried it yet?

And, speaking of Vista, I just downloaded/installed 16MB of updates. Gotta reboot. BBL

I *thought* there was supposed to be an Office 2000 update today too.

    Found it... came out yesterday!

Security Update for Word 2000 (KB942669)

Anyway... perfect example of what we're talking about!

I'm running MS Vista HP. With Vista, I'm using MS Office 2000 (8 years-old).

Office 2000 isn't officially supported on Vista, but it runs just fine (sans Outlook).

    Hello?!?!?

AAC+ is designed for dial-up -- that's the whole idea!

You need to get out more often, Frankie!

    I just want/need a %$^& player that will work with AAC+...

And, I haven't found anything better than Winamp!
